Welcome to Sailors Pride School

     Welcome to Sailors’ Pride School! A school where holistic education really does come first. It is a novel and unique private school located in G.R.A. Port Harcourt, Nigeria. As the Director of school with teaching experience that spans over 19 years, I have always operated with the belief that the most important aspect and resource of our school is our teachers having worked with children of different Nationalities myself.  Carefully we selected a team of dedicated, professional and caring Staff making Sailors’ Pride School the energetic, challenging, successful and nurturing environment that it is today. At Sailors’ Pride, your child will become part of the unique, multicultural learning environment and community which our school provides.

SPS classes are deliberately kept small, limited to only 12 children per class in other to cater for the different learning styles and abilities in a typical class setting. We ensure that learning is properly differentiated for each child because learners are not all at the same place in their learning curves. This is achieved in our classroom without sacrificing interactive classroom activities and confidence building.

Our modern classrooms ensures that ALL our pupils from ages 2-11 are properly equipped with skills for the 21 century workplace.

We have created a culture to “switch on” young minds because these are the years that set the tone for their education and their attitude to life.

Every care is taken to ensure the enjoyment of learning is initiated and nurtured. It is of utmost importance to us that the children love coming to school each day feeling safe and secure ready for the wealth of different experiences. We have made our school a place where our children will like to be rather than a chore they have to endure.
